Peelings have their roots in rituals dating back to ancient Egyptian times, and are one of the oldest skin care procedures. Aa far back as five thousand years ago, peelings and scrubs with herbal infusions and micro-fragments of sand were practiced for the health of the skin.
What is a chemical peeling
Today, the most effective peelings have a tested chemical base. The chemical peeling of the face consists in the application of acids (mandelic, glycolic, salicylic, lactic and others) – alone or in synergy – to stimulate the physiological renewal of the epidermis and dermis. How peeling works
The action of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHA), also known as fruit acids, eliminates dead cells deposited on the skin, stimulating cell turnover.
Not only that: based on the substance with which the peeling is performed, this treatment allows to reduce the visibility of spots and fine lines, to carry out a regenerating and sebum-regulating action, as well as to regularize skin texture, even attenuating blemishes caused by acne.
Each acid has a specific action, and its use, concentration and exposure time will be determined on the basis of the patient’s specific therapeutic indications.
The acid causes a so-called “insult”, aimed at triggering those repair processes in which the skin is “forced” to renew itself, producing more elastin and more collagen.
PRX T33 is one of the best and frequently used peelings.

The result of PRX T-33 peeling is an immediate skin rejuvenation, with a visible improvement in texture and luminosity.
