Tattoo removal is now possible thanks to Quanta System Asset laser, one of the most advanced, powerful and effective Q-Switched lasers, which Image Regenerative Clinic makes available to its patients.
How laser tattoo removal works
The Asset tattoo removal laser emits very short light pulses (6 nanoseconds), much more precise and targeted than those emitted by other Q-Switched machines (50 nanoseconds): a shorter pulse, in fact, offers greater efficacy and a lower risk of skin fibrosis and scarring.
Once hit by the laser beam, the pigment granules are fragmented and progressively removed from the skin and disposed of by the body in the weeks following the treatment.
Two different wavelengths on which this laser works, 1064 Nm and 532 Nm, allow it to act effectively on both black, red or blue tattoos in various shades.
Furthermore, the same laser used for tattoo removal is also utilized for the removal of benign pigmented lesions and for skin rejuvenation treatments.
Aesthetic tattoo removal
Quanta System Asset is also ideal for removing permanent make-up from the face. Q-Switched technology eliminates aesthetic black and red tattoos from lips, eyes and eyebrows. The treatment is safe and leaves no scars.
Sessions and removal results
It takes a session that lasts from 30 to 60 minutes to remove a 10×10 cm tattoo. The treatment involves one session every two months until the tattoo is completely removed.
The number of sessions varies greatly (on average from 3 to 10) depending on the size and depth of the tattoo, as well as its colors: the Asset laser allows you to obtain the best results on black, red and blue tattoos.
The tattoo lightens somewhat slowly during the first few sessions, and then progresses more rapidly until it is completely eliminated. It is important to remember that older tattoos are removed faster, as some of the ink has already been cleared by the body.
